Residents of East Palestine, Ohio, were urged to evacuate on Sunday night as teams worked to prevent a potential explosion from a derailed train carrying hazardous materials. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine warned that unstable temperatures in a car transporting chemicals could lead to an explosion with the potential to shoot deadly shrapnel up to a mile away. Federal investigators are working to find out why the train derailed, with the safety of the residents of East Palestine being the top priority for officials.
